- Russian History = A-
- Women In Chinese History = A-
- Breakup Of The Soviet Union = B+
- Creation Vs. Evolution = B+
I wish I knew what my grades were for the two papers (20 pages for Breakup of USSR and 10 pages for Women In Chinese History) but when I turned both papers in I was exhausted and couldn't be bothered to find a big envelope and self-address it.
I ended up with an even bigger stack of books then in my last post due to the Women in Chinese History class, which I hadn't started / really thought about when last I posted.
I ended up writing about the effect that the One Child Policy had on Chinese Women... which wasn't pretty (infanticide, sex-selective abortions and child abandonment.)
My Doctor Who game was amazing! It was three games long and made everyone present go crazy with my plot twists and surprise endings. I had a lot of fun leading my friends on a little romp through time and space.
Scilicet... my Batman / Superman / Justice League / DC Comics Fanfiction that I'm working on is going pretty well. The basic idea is that the story takes place in an Alternate Universe (aka an AU) where Bruce Wayne (Batman) was born Rachel Wayne (thus Batwoman)... and this "simple" change creates a lot of changes, not only for Gotham but for the Justice Leage and, more importantly, for Superman.
You can find Scilicet... HERE. (Read it! You'll make me feel special!)
Currently Sciliciet... is 15 chapters (136 pages) long. That's about 1/3 of the story I have in my head. I've been having a lot of fun writing a slow build up and laying down a good foundation of backstory, plot and foreshadowing. Although the readers basically know what's going to happen (Batwoman and Superman becoming a couple) I've got several twists and turns and events that they're going to go through, as well as people they will meet and interact with.
Oh yeah, and I'm still enjoying being a sneaky bastard/bitch when it comes to back-story and foreshadowing.
Oh, and het is still really strange to write, although I've gotten better at it.
Until next time, I remain,
-The BJC
