Fake News Dolls! New Fanfic!

I should really get around to writing more stuff on here... oh well, new dolls!

Recently I got into the Fake News Fandom, that is the fandom for The Colbert Report and the Daily Show. I can't really write fanfiction for this fandom, since I can't quite get the characters' voices right, so I decided to make Fake News Fanfiction, a lovely livejournal group, a little gift.

Behold, plushie Stephen Colbert and Jon Stewart.


A Deviantart group for the Fake News Fandom (Called moments-of-zen) is having a Valentines Day Contest, so I took another picture of the dolls to enter in that contest.

On to the fanfiction... I've got a new one that I'm working on. It's called "Scilicet..." which means "That is to say..." in Latin. The current summery of this fic is as follows:

Quidquid latine dictum sit, altum sonatur.
Whatever is said in Latin sounds profound.

Scilicet... is set in the DC Universe... well it's actually set in an AU of the DC Universe. The main difference between the world of Scilicet... and the DC Universe is that in this world Thomas and Martha Wayne didn't have a son... they had a daughter named Rachel. So instead of Batman protecting Gotham you have Batwoman. Scilicet... is what happens when Rachel Wayne has to go to Metropolis to stop the Joker... and what happens after she meets Superman.

You can find Scilicet... at my livejournal or on World's Finest, an archive dedicated to Batman/Superman stories. Scilicet... is not only the first Het that I've ever written, but it is also more story driven then my usual writings.

That is all for now, I should try to write a paper for class right now, but I will most likely go back to reading fanfiction and/or working on Scilicet...
